Collin graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s in Spanish Secondary Education.  He taught Spanish for 9 years at Centennial High School from first year levels to AP Spanish.  He was an adjunct professor for NNU providing college course credit for high school students.  While teaching he obtained a Master’s in Ed. Leadership from the University of Idaho.  In addition, Collin was the Spanish Department Head for 5 years at Centennial High.  He went into administration as the Gooding Middle School principal and then assistant principal and athletic director at Jerome Middle School.  He has been working as HR Manager for Double A Dairy LLC for the last 4 years.

Kimberly Waetje is an Organizational Development Consultant at Idaho National Laboratory.  Kimberly lives by the mantra that all people desire to be heard, to be seen for who they are, and to have their contributions valued. Creating environments where people can experience these things is the core of her passion. Heavily experienced in Talent Acquisition as a Senior Technical Recruiter, with a demonstrated history of working within the research, scientific, and energy industries, Kimberly has evolved into a skilled Organizational Development Consultant with expertise in, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Workshop/Facilitation, Employee and Leader Selection/Assessment, Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, New Hire On-boarding, and Team Building. Kimberly has her Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Shawn Miller "Building a Repulsive Culture"

Shawn began his career as an employment, labor and education attorney. After practicing law in law firms, Shawn moved in-house and eventually became the human resources director/in-house counsel for a school district in Phoenix. That set the course for his career in human resources. He is the CHRO at Boise State University where his mission is to help create an environment where every employee feels valued and where their daily work has meaning. His greatest rewards in life, however, come from being a husband and father to five sons. 

Morning Keynote: Casey Hermansen "ICU: Identify, Control, Unleash"

Casey Hermansen is the VP of Sales & Marketing for PSI (Product Solutions Intl), a Utah based global brand management company that focuses on pairing strong products and brands with successful sales and distribution channels and platforms. His focus is on building and training a strong Brand Manager network as well as developing lead generation channels that funnel product brands into the PSI portfolio of offering. In addition, he is also heavily involved in the creative and business development of the company. Casey’s professional background is rich in start-up ventures, including being tasked as the founding Executive Director of Apex Alarm LLC (now Vivint Smart Home). He spent the first 7 years of that company’s history assembling the corporate team, building out the infrastructure of the sales and technical departments in addition to heading up the branding and marketing of the company. He led the company during that time-period to over $260,000,000 in sales revenue. A few years after Casey stepped away from Vivint, the company was purchased for over $2 billion by Blackstone Group LP.

Lunch Keynote: Ildiko Oravecz "Three Keys to Transforming Your Team"

Living under a name that translates to “fierce warrior” in Hungarian can send many messages to a young girl. For Ildi, it meant that success best happens when it is not built alone. Through a fierce and colorful past that began in South Africa, followed by part of her life in Hungary and then tiny Socorro, New Mexico, Ildi’s greatest philosophies were to listen to your gut, build a culture you believe in, and maintain a posture that promotes further enrichment. She now translates those life lessons into her Tribal Abundance® program, where the concept of collaboration and connection is taught as a framework. Ildi is the author of the award-winning book, Tribal Abundance: Living Courageously in an Uncertain World. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technologies from the University of New Mexico.
